Good neighborhood restaurant. Simple, tasty Irish food at moderate prices. We had deviled eggs, Caesar salad, smoked salmon carpaccio and shepherds pie. We finished with a homemade waffle topped with homemade ice cream. Attentive, friendly service. Available outdoor dining. We will return.

I didn't go here with very high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Food turned out very fresh and delicious. Especially the fish dishes. Got calamari, Fish and chips, shepherd pie, beef stroganoff, crab dip, bread pudding, Jameson cake, cinnamon twist.

As close to the Emerald Isle as you can get in DC! Authentic food, drinks, proprietors and servers. The best St Patrick’s party of all the Irish bars in town! I once tried to order a black and tan (British!) and the bartender said “I’ll make one for ya this time lad but that’s an English drink”!

Feb 2024: 2nd time here and first review. This is a nice inn in the woods. There is is outdoor, indoor and bar seating areas. Very cozy. Nice paintings on the wall. The fish and chips were a 10/10 and the fish tacos were 9/10. The tacos had nice pickled shredded peppers inside. The special lobster soup was fresh and zesty. 9/10. Thank you. See you again!

We went there for brunch back in December with relatives we were visiting. We sat in the nostalgic bar area and enjoyed the Celtic art and decorations. Our breakfast servings were all to our liking and the waitress and the maitre d' were polite and attentive. When in the area, I would like to go back for dinner.

Enjoyed a beautiful Saturday afternoon dining at the Irish Inn. Food was excellent, waitstaff attentive and friendly. They were very accommodating in my request to have a crab cake as an appetizer even though it wasn’t on the menu. Had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, substituting Baileys Irish ice cream for the plain vanilla. Dined outdoors which was an additional enjoyment.
